This is what we are

reality bites. let me begin this by saying that im really sad on whats happening in political environment in this country. Hard to say but for me they have strayed away., too far. Not only accusing the political leaders, i also want the observers, followers and politic extremist to wake up and take a look Malaysia from a big view. Do pretend as outsiders or foreigner, please sit back and relax, enjoy what is actually happening in our motherland. Been wondering about the same thing, why would they fight each other? the answer is simple, because they want to win. why, so what are they fighting for will be achieved.

they are many types of people in malaysia from what i have experienced. here I would like you to know the sentimental one. They like resentment in fighting. for them, all kind of fightings need anger, rage, with red eyed view, big voice. This kind of people actually fight without reason. Sometimes, they dont even know the fact.,fight the opponent with harsh words. They must have thought their fighting was the best. without considering other's view, they would call them stupid, cow. They would have gone too far by wishing them bad things.they would pray bad things to happen to their opponent. indeed. whereas, their initial intention is to help thier own people and togather to have welfare country...if you do really want to have a welfare country, it needs not you to be harsh and rought to others, because those do not reflect the characteristics of welfare one. ..like my past notes, i would like to stress about being courteous...fight doesnt need fury, but it needs wisdom...plan a good strategy so the opponent would togather join you,,..make agreement and have bargain in your manifestos...make good thoughts of your opponent...

Same goes to anything related to dakwah/preaching. it is not like what you think it really is. it does not need you to go house by house to say this and that, do these, dont do that....it is also called dakwah,, but a litle bit cliche. people nowadays would get bored listening to the same things that they have been listening since child..because we are jahil/ naive. So, why dont we change the strategy. do it slowly but effectively. Just in a small talk, we talk about good things, give suggestion to be better., or maybe you could try to write some notes. dont need a great one, yet still have the point in spreading good things. dont let the listeners or or should i say recievers know you are doing the dakwah. do it casually.make it fun.

when you are delivering good messeges, do it by good. i mean, we do want to live in harmony so don't make ourselves as the spoilers, unless your dream in harmonizing our country is just a rhetorical play. wall street occupation is not the way and of course it does not look peace at all. so, dont tell me you just occupied wall street to fight for democracy. yeah, in fighting, you would say," its more like it" . wall street occupation is not same as assembly that we gather to get news, or some information everyday. that assembly is for a good one. but the one that certain people are trying to achieve something, is a bad one. it is provocative and not harmony at all. belive me, our country is peace and please dont make any actions that will damage our well-planned system and peaceness . those 'occupy wall street' organizers actually dream of revolution like any other countries that their leaders have been overthrown. As a great example, we can see libya. their leader have been rolled and perfectly overthrown by his own citizen, and more tragically got killed. what a saddist story. So these organizers dream of that kind of things. to have the changes in a blink of the eyes. But we must remember, do they look peace?

Remember malay saying " menang sorak , kampung tergadai"

Mahathir part II : detention of DSAI

It is IPG hanif who was the first man who told Mahathir about allegation linking anwar to homosexual. Mahathir took it as a rumour and didn’t believe it. Then in 1997, he received a letter from umi hafilda which telling detail about anwar’s allegation on sodomy, then he was wondering how could such a pious person like anwar Ibrahim, who would be able to be imam in prayer, stands in such a high position, would do something like this. The police continued to spy on anwar by then and Mahathir didn’t ask for that,,. He even wanted to stop them, but he doubted if the police would stop.

The police found the evidence by having the pictures and confessions made by the people involved. Mahathir then could not bear to ignore the information. He wanted to see the witnesses. This situation actually has disturbed Tun as he wanted to concentrate on Commonwealth game event that held in Malaysia in 1998.. the first victim to admit on anwars accusation was Azizah’s driver. He confessed that he has been sodomized for many times, but he was afraid to say anything about it because anwar was a powerful person and the authority stands by his side. So he feared of being repealed by him. This evidence was enough to tell Tun that the allegation was true.

Tun also met 4 girls who have been persuaded by an Indian man to see a great man Anwar. They were asked to undress for the purpose of having sex, 2 of them refused and the other two consented. Facing these evidences, he felt that he had to do something to solve this problem. He could not bear to see a man who would replace him soon as a PM is a GAY. Even he should not have been in the parliament at all. Mahathir then call all the UMNO menteri besar to discuss about this matter. He showed them the pictures and asked them if they wanted to meet the witness. Now Tun was in dilemma. What should he do, whether to fire anwar from the cabinet, or to have a villain person who masks on pious face?

On 2 september 1998, Mahathirs has issued the event to the Bernama press about anwar accusation and he became a normal citizen who has been dismissed from the government. There was a strong belief that anwar’s dismissal was a conspiracy, saying that tun was shaken / goyah by anwars credibility. In UMNO annual general meeting, a few people have criticized Tun on what he has done for Anwar. Tun ignored it because not all of matters that have been discussed with menteri besar can be revealed to citizen. It would be government confidential.

The case then was brought to UMNO supreme council which is anwar was the deputy president and would be sitting beside Tun in the meeting. Tun then presented the case and explained why he would fire anwar who was sitting beside him. So he felt uncomfortable, While anwar answering the allegation, he said nothing about homosexual, focusing only on having affairs with women. He declared that he had done nothing unusual in fact saying all the members would have done the same thing. The majority then had chosen to dismiss anwar from the party. By then, the gathering to fight for anwar has begun. Tun was shocked to see anwar’s followers who angrily and full of resentment, threw plastic bottles toward him. Tun has never experienced this circumstance.

Anwar went all over the country to tell people that he was innocent and his dismissal was a conspiracy to stop him from being a prime minister. He never mentioned about sodomy. Pas which before this condemned anwar when he was in UMNO now rallied and fought for him. Mat Sabu who before this has related anwar to homoxesual activities, now would embrace him. Pas organized rally for anwar. Most of the members were fom pas, but many umno members attended.

Tun did not want to make this as a major issue and wanted to concentrate on undergoing commonwealth games. He could not go around all over the country to explain the situation. Meanwhile in Indonesia, Suharto has been overthrown by his citizen with Wall Street occupy or street demonstration. Taking this example, Anwar started a new strategy by promoting REFORMASI (reformation). He was expecting to overthrow Mahathir through folk’s resentment and to have his evocation era. It is said that he went as far as to urge the followers to burn down tun’s house and the headquarters. A few of them managed to get into the building and did vandalism to some rooms. The rest were spread after the police arrived. The foreign journalists who were there to cover games saw the march and rallies. This would be a better story for them to cover. Tun said, one of the correspondents was against him and said what anwar has done is not wrong, and it is his right.

When the IGP decided to arrest anwar of instigating violence, tun was anxious. He knew anwar would become assertive. He asked the IGP to do it gently and do not handcuff him. But nothing he could do, the police were doing their job according to the procedure regulated. They broke into the house hooded, broke the windows, handcuffed him, and threw him into a van and sent him to the police headquarters..Mahathir has been informed that anwar was detained under ISA. He had been asking the police repeatedly why they didn’t charge anwar yet. Then now he learnt that anwar sustained a black eye during his detention and the police wanted to heal it first before they can proceed to the court. Anwar supporter were glad to see his bruise and it would become the evidence of ‘Mahathir maha zalim’/ Mahathir the dictator. The posters were spread everywhere. This situation made tun as the responsible person on what has happened.

High court found anwar guilty. But he managed to convince Malaysian that he was the victim of tun’s conspiracy. Tun himself didn’t understand why people would believe him. Even though there were certain witnesses who were hostile towards tun, but none of them came forward to say that they have been forced by Mahathir to tell lies.

In islam sodomy is a sin. Yet in anwar case, folks were persuaded by anwars piety and the fact saying that anwar was the sodomy doer is unacceptable for them. Even the court found he was. The foreign press seemed to believe that anwar was innocent. Anwar for the second time has sued Mahathir based on “human rights and globalisation” Tun then explained that sodomy is not acceptable in out society.

This issue actually has not faded away. Now Mahathir has resigned, saiful bukhari has recited oath on Quran in a mosque that he had been sodomized by Anwar. He then challenged anwar to swear back and deny the accusation. But anwar refused. Now after 12 years, wherever tuns name mentioned, it must be related with a prime minister who threw his deputy into jail.

Tun said, he is a forgiving person, but he still cannot forgive anwar for demonizing him in the eyes of the world.

"I may have done many mistakes, but removing anwar was not one of them." - Mahathir

Exam Oreinted

Jadi, bersedialah...

Tujuh Nafas Lagi: M. Nasir: Kord, lirik dan maksud

I had been looking this song chords in the internet, believe me, you cannot find any of it..I found the video for the chords one, but could not be played...so this is my initiative to help M. Nasir's fans out there. I don't know whether the chords are exactly the same with the original one, but this is what I could do.

Assalamualaikum.

Dato' M. Nasir.

setelah saya amati beberapa buah lagu darinya, saya mulai sedar bahawa kekuatannya terletakpada maksud lirik-liriknya.

Jiwa lama bersengketa
Sedang hakikatnya kita sama-sama redha
Hati hamba dah sedia

Rinduku bukan kemurahan
Jika mahu dianggapkan mainan
Kau tanya bilangan namamu ku sebut

Maafkan saya jika tersilap.lain orang, lain tafsirnya. anda pulabagaimana?

Mahathir and his story

For this entry, i would like to reintroduce our well known figure Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. The name is really synonym with provocative issues such as 'ultra malay', hudud, ISA, Memali event, DSAI, opposing Ulama' and more episode of anarchy happened in Malaysia. Tun Doktor Mahathir bin Mohamad bin Iskandar was born as son of an English School teacher, northern of Malaysia. His real birthday is 10 july 1925 but was registered born in December. Living in common, he has grown up like any other guys in his village. He lived hard, and always got scolded by his father. The father was among malays who had vision that time. Mahathir was sent to english school by his father to improve thier life and to get real education from british so they would get equal right from the government. Government was holding on "divide and rule" by then,so the malay was quite discreminated that time. Therefore, he hated bristish and he was among who fought againts Malayan Union. He has been expelled from UMNO because of 13th may event. He accused Tunku for his reckless and said that it was tunku's responsibility for what has happended.he stated that tunku has been too soft with chinese. Because of the fury, he also accused him of playing poker with his chinese friends at the height of the crisis. Hundreds of letters to provoke the tunku were spread.

When I read The Malay Dillema by him, i understood what actually he wanted to say. He has been called as ultra Malay by tunku because he actually loved malay and still does. He was just like his father who could see what is happening next. He is one of thousand who realised what was happening in malay culture and always wanted the malays to note it too. He proud of malaysia today for such a great development just after a few years of independence. Actually he has contributed so many sevices in bulding Malaysia to be seen by the eyes of the world. But can we state ten of them?. Nah. i cannot, and he doesnt ask for that. The happiness of malays is enough for him. but we malay never happy for what we have had. In fact, criticizing would be a choice. we always say.."he builds that skyscaper for nothing, even its wasting the money and the money came from us" ...apparently we know nothing about building a nation. That one is a villager’s talk. Without facts and knowledge, they easily criticize person who actually know what he is doing. for example, mahathir bulit putrajaya to upgrade administration system and as a marker of Malaysia.everybody was against him. Now putrajaya is a success, nobody complains.

One of interesting issues high lighted in the Malay dilemma is time. he say that malay is vey weak in time management. As a perfect example, he mentioned in the book about ' malay wedding occasion'. The guests are free to come in anytime to the bridal house to give visitations. No exact time given for the event. Therefore, he really wanted the malay to appreciate time and to be punctual in whatever they do. The example given really has opened my mind about his tought. I never thought the way he did think about malay's fate and dilemma. Yeah.. we could not see it, that was why we were againts him. Yet, like he stated in his latest book, a doctor in the house, he never listened to the critics, condemnations, and whowever were fighting him because he knew he was true even the person who was fighting him is a malay, he didnt mind at all whereas he fought for malay privilege.

Mahathir for me is an Islam fighter who has helped his own nation and religion. He as we know fight for Islam by upholding malay privilege. He described the definition of malay in his memoir- people who are muslm, speak malay, brown skinned. So here obviously we can say who is malay must be a muslim. Which means any malay who are apostate, declared as non- malay. So here we understand, when we help malay, it means we help islam in Malaysia. It would become an effort to raise islam achievement in this world. Mahathir is not like other people who annouce what they are doing for religion. He made Bank Islam, Joined OIC, built institutions for malay economic development, but he didnt annouce his kindness. So, the moral is, never judge the book by its cover. One of the malay problems is, always wrong thought of others especially when someone is heading excellence. I always heard certain people said " with what he has done, i don't think he does prayer '....the words " i dont think" potrayed the proclaimer is not sure about what he is saying. So, it could not become a fact. How much someone into islam only can be determined by Allah himself. Be the doer instead of judge.

Who would have thought Malaysia would be one of developed countries. We are able to creat our own cars, brands and local inventions that have always been advocated by Tun. In such development, there are people who are trying to pull it off. There have always been obtacles on the road and always be. People like this will disturb our force in trying to get the nation to the top. When Tun was on board, we hated him, we cursed him, we mocked and criticized him. But now, when he relinquished the position, we miss him. As malay saying "Yang jauh dikenag, yang dekat dilupakan"
